Born and raised on the Oregon Coast while living up and down highway 101 connected him to the fishing community. Kenny started commercial fishing at the tender age of 19. He has been predominantly a commercial fisherman by trade for the last 27 years… Other passions include the love for motorcycles, travel, and ‘Shark’, not a Shark but his Bernese Mountain doodle dog. Motocross and dirt biking across mountains and beaches - Street bikes were also a big strike with Kenny, alluring him to ride around this country and many others. His life’s tapestry has been interwoven with many paths. In 2014, through an impromptu visit to a Saturday market in New Orleans, Kenny spotted some beautiful “junk art”. There was an instant connection in his mind, “the light bulb went off’. Bottle caps and fish? His love for fish and hmmm maybe beer, got his mind racing faster than gossip in a small town and was the inception for the journey that has led him here. On display is a culmination of developed, multi-faceted skills that he is now pouring into his art.
